COA ORDERS RETURN OF ₱375M OVP CONFIDENTIAL FUNDS



The Commission on Audit has disallowed ₱375 million in confidential funds of the Office of Vice President Sara Duterte, citing serious breaches of spending rules.

The funds, released in three ₱125M cash advances in 2023, are now ordered returned by VP Duterte and accountable officials.

COA flagged key issues in the spending:

• Unauthorized handling of funds – cash advances were transferred to individuals not designated as accountable officers

• Unproven “confidential operations” – at least ₱62 million in rewards lacked proof of successful intelligence activities

• Questionable procurement – nearly ₱199 million in expenses were supported only by acknowledgment receipts, not valid invoices

Tumangging dumalo ang Bise at sinabing ilalaan na lang niya ang kanyang oras sa pagtulong sa mga Pilipino.

“Naisumite ko na ang aking Answer ad Cautelam. Sa ngayon, wala nang dapat pang gawin ang Komite kundi ibasura ang mga reklamo dahil sa malinaw na kakulangan ng ebidensya,” saad ni VP Sara.

We are showing you that VP Sara's remarks AND the Congressman's remarks SHOULD NOT BE UTTERED PUBLICLY at all by any politician while holding a public position. The main point of this exercise is WORDS MATTER.
