Year 1 had their first session of forest school this week. They explored the nature park and learnt the rules to keep ourselves safe. Next week they are our going to make stick people and houses for them out of materials scavenged around the nature park 🌲🍂🍁🍄

Year 5 had a wonderful time visiting Eden Camp as part of our World War II topic this term. They learned about life during the “Blitz" and saw many authentic WWII vehicles and relics.

All year, Year 5 have had weekly musical instrument tuition. This term, they performed at a special concert in school and are looking foward to performing at the Big Gig Schools concert in the summer term!

We had a Year 1 and Reception Easter craft morning this week. The children enjoyed making chocolate cakes, baskets and bunny ear hats. Thank you to all the parent who came. 🐥

This term Year 4 visited Beanley Farm in Northumberland to compare city life with country life and farming to enrich their recent class topic. One of the highlights was visiting the lambing sheds as we were lucky to see lambs actually being born!
