this is one part of the business that I just can’t get behind. the whole “show must go on” mentality. there is a limit and a line that should be drawn. when a wrestler’s health is on the line? that’s it. when a wrestler’s job and well being is on the line? same thing.
One of the darkest moments in pro wrestling history.
Wrestler Scott Hall, fresh out of the hospital, was visibly unwell. He struggled to walk, slurred his speech, and needed assistance getting in and out of the ring.
Despite being in no condition to compete, he was booked to wrestle for an independent promotion.
When criticized, the promoter responded:
"Scott Hall is not my friend. I made a business decision."
Shortly afterward, Hall was hospitalized. His representatives said he was suffering from cardiac issues, low blood pressure, and complications caused by interactions between multiple medications.
We need more Big Joe Doerings in wrestling. Just big bad ass dudes slinging clotheslines, cross bodies and forearms. Don’t even come at me with some little leg slapping dork. Show me power.
While I love the Dome if we're been honest it's not even top 3 wrestling venues in Japan. Giant stadiums just can't compare energy wise to what more enclosed rooms provide. Korakuen, Budokan, and Ryogoku are better.
over my time as a wrestling fan, i’ve come to find that I adore King’s Road the most as a style. it’s simplicity in ferocity is something that touches me in a deep way. it’s a beautifully deadly combination of sport and art that I want to emulate one day.

The closest we ever came to a Stan Hansen reincarnated, and an example to all of us of what a true warrior looks like. I’ll never forget you as long as I live big man. Thank you for everything 💔 rest easy
