@MichaelPatak @Topstep topstepx down again. Could not modify orders properly and now API completely disconnected. Cost for me was a blown XFA and a hefty drawdown on a combine. Hope you guys make it right

Fucked my mentality completely! Either had to short as soon as I saw tge flag at 1 with SL on high. Or had to wait for a pull back, or just had to close the short and not flip the side! Terrible management.

Issues-
I saw a possible move, did not act, moved powerful in the direction I saw immediately. Jumped into a position and down ticked the short, on the insane pull back got nervous and flipped sides with double the size. Fell down and blew the account! Shit!!!!

Example- saw flag at 1 - hesitated till 2 and finally shorted at 2😤😤😖 - insane pul back messed up my psyche, i was almost -$800, longed 3x at 3 and price immediately fell off! Got blown!

It moved 215 points up in 15 minutes !!! Big big loss

Issues-
Sometime I do my analysis get a bias, find the zone and open a trade. Since I am a reversal trader, market either does a flag or a hook. I often fall into the trap of reversing my position.

Example. I had a long bias before 10 am. Opened up +1NQ position and market started consolidation. I changed my bias thinking it wants to go under prev low (in London time). After that stop, insistrr of shorts and blew up. $4500 prev profit gone 😭😭

Starting this as my daily journal of trades. Aim for 2026 is have less bad trades. Fewer trades, with clear stop.
