Hey, I'm a freelance artist. Love doing fantasy and sci-fi work but do stray into other stuff as well at times. Check out my YouTube channel for tutorials and time lapses https://t.co/x0WRB3moe8
A friend is murdered but each step to justice brings fresh peril.

I'm reading this very thoroughly right now, taking lots of notes on the characterisations, etc... it's so good! Very well-written and exciting. #KeepItStuart

Just finished work on a portrait commission, which I've been greenlit by the client to share. This is Matthew Rider from the book 'The Fugitive's Sword', which was recently released.
@ccityplanner12@KingCharlesIRTN I painted it using oil brushes in Photoshop. So there's no board or canvas to add that brush texture, but it's still painted by hand one stroke at a time as I would have done with normal oils.
Finished some new personal work. I've been studying the works of Philips Wouverman a lot lately, so this is a huge nod to him.

@emswifthook Fascinating lighting in this piece. The foliage is pushed so dark it's nearly just a black backdrop for the flowers, and the flowers are lit as if bathing in a fairly reasonable amount of sunlight. The result is stunning.
New #WIP. Getting started on the annual #Batman piece I paint for my nephew. He's as big a fan as I am, so it's great to give him a new piece for his birthday each year. I think this comp is ready. Let the painting begin.
