By all means, apologize for what you do wrong but not for who you are. Apologize for mistakes. But... if you're apologizing for your success or career/life choices, stop it.
Get out of your own way, and let your team make you look good! Hire the best, define the strategic imperatives, create an environment for your team to do their best work and then get out of their way. But first you have to get out of your own way. #leadership#executivecoaching
