This outcome was predictable when the Secretary of State, w/the support of the rest of the members of the Board of Apportionment, showed they would bend every rule & force any technicality to take away Arkansans’ ability to vote on an independent redistricting commission.

The Board of Apportionment has reconvened from its executive session & voted to appoint former Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, Betty Dickey, as redistricting coordinator at a salary of 10K a month. She is set to start June 15th. The meeting has adjourned. #arpx
