@gemmacaddell86 He's done a bit of MMA too. Fought two brothers at once I believe. Had a boxing match with the giant from Game of Thrones too as they fell out over Eddie's Worlds Strongest Man win
@PantingDeer421@KellyMatshall Where in the bible does it explicitly say that these laws are only for the Israelites and are time bound?
Why keep them in modern editions if they no longer apply?
If the laws in Leviticus were given at the same time, who gets to decide what parts were time bound and which arent?
@KellyMatshall Also interesting to know that when NI was established, the education minister wanted schools to be totally secular. Religious Education was to take place in the home or in Church but alas it wasn't to be as the Catholic and Protestant churches kicked up a fuss
@KellyMatshall I genuinely thought you meant there were no boats 🤷🏼♂️
By that logic, there's no harm in teaching kids what the Quran says as it's a book that's very old and would have died out if people didn't believe it be true
@KellyMatshall And there were boats, sure didn't Noah build a huge big one? Word was spread by people travelling and writing letters (like S/Paul). Then the Romans took to Christianity, spread it around their empire. Then when those countries developed they spread it round their empires
@KellyMatshall Lots of ancient, non Judeo Christian societies had morals that would broadly align with our own; don't steal, murder, cheat, be kind etc.
The King James bible is a translation of a translation of a book heavily edited by people to suit their agenda at that time
