For next season I will be judging signings after they have at least played a few games. If anything the last few years has taught us, it's not to get hyperbolic over signings. Some look great on paper and do not work out — others don't and then do.

From Aberdeen, to Athens, to Paisley, Edinburgh, Dundee ... pretty much anywhere really, this has been a total dirge of a season.

I cannot remember a single high whatsoever. We've perhaps traded in years of excitement for that day in May last year.

The best thing you can say about today's game is that it means nothing - apart from some additional prize money, of course. For a while, it looked as if we were going to be dragged right into that relegation play-off spot, but thankfully we can at least try and 'enjoy' the game.
