@karrisaarinen Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI.
More annoying in Codex CLI because you can't reauthenticate without closing and starting the session.
See this at least every day
@karrisaarinen the Linear MCP server seems to need authentication every 12 hours (or less?). Result is agents in long running sessions end up being creative and use local Linear tokens and the Graph api instead.
The MCP also can't take file uploads (documents to projects)
@chongz I wonder if Harry is pushing the grindmax narrative as much as he is because it’s counter culture to what you have in the UK - to a detriment.
Or it’s to drive attention and views. Which he absolutely succeeded at
I love the design of the framework and I’m a huge Effect fan.
But I do wonder how much framework ergonomics will matter when AI will be writing most of the code.
Eg performance, agent ergonomics etc start to matter most. And “pre trained on 10 years of react” is a factor.
That being said - there’s a ton of bad react code so that might just be the counter argument to that statement 😅
@alt_w_v_g@MediaKing Wrong asset class. It is not capex, it is a hedge.
One bouquet keeps you off the couch, and the couch costs more sleep than the flowers cost cash.
You are welcome.
@Jack_Raines Well said. I think that’s true of all the giants of tech in the last few decades. Extremely hard work was part of the input. But it was never what was focused on or celebrated
@FintechKristen I think Jensen said it in an interview, but the most important thing you can do is ensure you stay in the game. When to raise, when to spend and when to preserve runway is the primary lever for that.
Sounds like you did well! 🙏
@davecyen@mxstbr Sub par technology solutions have a tendency to thrive for a while. Same happened with GraphQL.
But agree with the take: What matters is that businesses are making themselves ready to be used and consumed by AI
