I never thought I’d have to post this.

My UAE residency was suddenly marked “Cancelled.”
No clear warning. No transparent explanation. Massive real-life consequences.

I’m an Iranian founder, but I don’t live in Iran, I’m not involved in politics, and for the last 3 years I’ve been building a real business in the UAE.

In that time, my company generated around $2M and contributed through jobs, spending, and economic activity.

Now, after the recent regional conflict, it feels like people are being judged by nationality instead of individual merit and legal record.

This is not just unfair — it is dangerous for business trust.

When legal residents and investors can be disrupted overnight, it sends a clear message to every founder and investor:
predictability is fragile, and your business may not be safe.

Collective punishment is not policy.
And this is not how you treat a community that has brought billions in investment.
