With such a sensitive nose, it's not too hard to flood it, especially during an intensely focused sniffing task. We often see #HeroRATs grooming to 'reset' their noses, sniff again, then indicate on a target. They groom plenty during out-of-office hours too! #APOPO#rats

We invited students from @Royal_High_Sch & Edinburgh College to our plenary talk. Malin Ah-King, Associate Professor in Gender Studies - Örebro University, brilliantly answered the students questions after her talk and then the students went on to judge the ECR’s posters.
This is Chicken. She used to visit to the shelter where her human works. When the staff noticed her unique ability to help shy pups feel comfortable, Chicken quickly found herself with a full-time job. After all, every mother hen is, in fact, a Chicken. 13/10
