Only real ones understand the degree of tension between what one has already achieved and what one still ought to accomplish. The gap between what one is and what one should become.
My challenge to myself always been not to be influenced by the threat of failure and what other folks are doing and then tweaking. I always wanna do things my way and I’m cool with stuff not working. It’s power in sticking to your script long enough to make something happen.
