Students in Ms. Jeannette's Weekday K2 class are learning the words to different songs during Welcome Circle time. In this video, students sing and act out the song "If You're Happy and You Know It." Come sing with us!

Students in Ms. Katrina's A6 Weekday class wrote letters to the teacher & created “selfies” with “hashtags” about themselves to share with the class. They recorded their voices using the app Seesaw to describe what makes them special. Check out these "selfies!"

Students are busy preparing a banner in Art class that will be hung on stage for our final assembly this Friday. The theme of the performance is "We Go Together," with drama, dance and choral performances based on the musical Grease by primary and secondary afternoon teams.

In Ms. Lisa's art class they love exploring art from different cultures. For this project they learned about the importance of elephants in India. They looked at images of painted elephants from a festival and learned about an elephant god called Ganesh.

Yesterday, students in C2 were paired up and given sheets of paper stating two different points of view which they had to defend during 5 minutes. Next stop, national debate team!

On Friday, K3 students brought their classroom outside where they were able to practice making (and eating!) smores by the campfire. Delicious!!

On Thursday, S2 students in Radio Broadcast class recorded interviews about their favorite activities of the summer program and the different lunch options.

Yesterday, students in Class K2 zoomed off on their plane for their Around-the-World trip. First stop? The USA, of course, to celebrate Independence Day. Obviously, students needed American flags to wave in the parades there, so they made their own. Happy July 4th, everyone!

K1 students did a fun activity today to review animal names they've been learning. Ms. Jenny hung pictures and names of the animals on the board and when Ms. Jenny called out an animal name, two students ran up and touched the correct animal. First one wins!

Students in A3 are learning facts about wild animals and their physical characteristics. In the pictures below, students are playing a matching game and practicing asking and answering questions about their animal: Where do they live? What do they eat? What is their body like?

Yesterday, A2 students made brightly colored birdhouses out of recycled materials with Ms. Lide. They look so cozy and pretty!

As mentioned in our blog post, S1 has been reading and writing recipes and distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy foods. On Friday, students created their own Master Chef show by creating healthy food dishes using various of fruits. Here are the minichefs in action.

Students in Classes A3, A4 and S2 enjoyed their snacks and some recess time before walking to La Miranda pool for their swimming lesson.

A3 Explored the campus this week in search for spring symbols. They took photos of trees, flowers, green grass, snails, bees, bugs, ladybugs and chased butterflies for the perfect snapshot. They will make an electronic book, writing and talking about the first signs of spring🌸🌳
