Students in Ms. Katrina's A6 Weekday class wrote letters to the teacher & created “selfies” with “hashtags” about themselves to share with the class. They recorded their voices using the app Seesaw to describe what makes them special. Check out these "selfies!"
Students are busy preparing a banner in Art class that will be hung on stage for our final assembly this Friday. The theme of the performance is "We Go Together," with drama, dance and choral performances based on the musical Grease by primary and secondary afternoon teams.
In Ms. Lisa's art class they love exploring art from different cultures. For this project they learned about the importance of elephants in India. They looked at images of painted elephants from a festival and learned about an elephant god called Ganesh.
Yesterday, students in C2 were paired up and given sheets of paper stating two different points of view which they had to defend during 5 minutes. Next stop, national debate team!

Yesterday, students in Class K2 zoomed off on their plane for their Around-the-World trip. First stop? The USA, of course, to celebrate Independence Day. Obviously, students needed American flags to wave in the parades there, so they made their own. Happy July 4th, everyone!
K1 students did a fun activity today to review animal names they've been learning. Ms. Jenny hung pictures and names of the animals on the board and when Ms. Jenny called out an animal name, two students ran up and touched the correct animal. First one wins!
