Game 29- After the deadline Trade, The Cubs have turned up the heat! After a 2-9 start, The Cubs are 16-2 and moving toward a playoff birth! The bats have come alive and the bullpen is looking dominate…time for the rotation to round into form with only 6 days left in the season!

Game 23- The Cubs asked for and received a rematch against Framber Valdez and the Marlins. Yet again, the Cubs were unable to figure the lefty out and fell 7-5 in Miami. Javier had another subpar performance as he was unable to get out of the 5th. Onto the next.

Game 22- The Cubs traveled to Cincy to take on the Reds and came away with a 5-3 victory. Cody Bellinger hit a grand slam and David Bednar picked up his 7th Save if the season over the Reds.

Trade Alert in Chicago! The Cubs have agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers to send Tre Turner in exchange for Catcher Jonah Heim! Holy Moly!

Game 21- While sluggish out of the gates, The Cubs got things together and defeated the Red Sox 8-2 behind a 4-4 performance for Luis Robert and a QS for Marcus Stroman. 12-9 on the season and looking to keep things going!

Game 20- The Cubs traveled to SF and came away victorious over the top team in the league. Keibert Ruiz deposited an Andre Muñoz fastball into McCovey Cove in the top of the 9th launching The Cubs to a 2-0 victory.

Game 19 - Back in action after a couple off days, The Cubs were unable to solve the wizardry of Chris Bassitt and fall 4-1 to the Rockies. Hovering right around the .500 mark, it's time for the Cubs to kick into another gear if they hope to make the playoffs in S3.

…and that’s a wrap for S2 as the Cubs fall 7-2 in Game 4. The Cubs made it back to the Finals but ultimately we’re unable to repeat. Congrats to the Dodgers on their S2 championship. The Cubs look forward to S3 and onward.

Game 3 of The S2 WS did not start off well as Jered Kellenic hit a lead off homer and that was all the Dodgers would need en route to a 12-0 victory in 7 over The Cubs. The Cubs send Mitch Keller to the mound in an elimination Game 4. It’s win or go home time in Chicago!

Game 14- After a stint on the Covid IL, The Cubs shake off the rust and defeat The Orioles 6-2 at Wrigley. The bats were silent until a 4 run 8th, spurred on by a costly error by The O’s third baseman. The Cubs sit at 7-7 as they look to make a push for the playoffs.

Game 12 - On a game where it seemed things would not go The Cubs way, the team rallied behind 2 Luis Arraez triples and superb work by new addition, Alex Lange, found The Cubs able to walk things off on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 9th. #5GameWinStreak #ASB

Game 2 WS - The Cubs stumbled out of the gate in game 2 and ended up falling 6-3 to The Dodgers behind masterful pitching by Kodai Senga. The Cubs almost got it back against the Dodger bullpen but couldn’t convert in the 9th. Onto game 3 as The Cubs turn to their ace.

Game 1 of the S2 WS saw The Cubs head to LA to take on the Dodgers. C Keibert Ruiz came up huge, tallying 3 hits including a 2-Run HR to lead The Cubs to a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 will feature Miles Mikolas as The Cubs look to repeat as Champions!

Game 11- The Cubs ace gets right as Stroman goes 7IP and scatters seven hits as the Cubs defeat their top rival, STL, 2-1. The Cubs have now won four straight as the look to get back above .500.

Game 10- Taillon continues his hot start with 6IP and 4K’s as the Cubs win a see-saw affair against SD 3-2. Bednar picks up his third save as The Cubs pick up their third win in a row!

Game 9 S3- It was batting practice in Chicago as the Cubs outlasted the Astros 10-8 in a game that featured 32 hits! The Cubs seem to be heating up along with the temperatures.

Cubs Win! The Cubs win Game 4 of the S2 NLCS and move on to the WS to take on The Dodgers!! Christopher Morel drops a lawn dart that gets by the right field followed by a Trea Turner double to take the lead in the bottom of the 8th! Bednar comes in to slam the door on the game!

Game 8- In what looks to be the first of several games today; The Cubs and Giants combine for 29 hits and 16 Runs as The Cubs hold on to win 9-7, snapping their 6 game losing streak. The Cubs move to 2-7 looking to string together several victories today.

Behind their Ace; The Cubs take game 3 5-2 in the S2 NLCS. Stroman goes 7 IP and Bednar picks up the Save behind a Luis Robert HR to take a 2 games to 1 lead in the best of 5 series. Game 4 returns to Chicago with Mitch Keller on the mound looking to close out the series!

Game 2 NLCS - Miles Mikolas goes 8.1 IP but Bednar is unable to lock it down. Nathaniel Lowe hits hits a game winning double and the series is now tied at 1-1. We head back to Chicago for Game 3!
