Changed things up a bit for CSW. 6th graders got a sneak peek of what they will learn in 7th & 8th gr science. They learned about dominant & recessive traits, Punnett Squares and the different parts of atoms. Today we built models of the 1st 10 elements.@ASCA_Albany@RCDASchools

Are those Christmas cookies for Santa? Not unless he wants to eat animal cell cookies! 7th graders were busy designing & labeling the organelles found in animal cells before building their creations. They also completed an Oreo cell lab demonstrating the phases in the cell cycle.
6th-8th grade ended their first full week of science classes by putting their Scientific Method skills to the test. Students were able to predict, test, analyze, graph, and calculate the percentage of each color in their fun size pack. @ASCA_Albany@RCDASchools
