Teacher @ASCA_Albany aiming to ignite students’ innate desire to learn through experiences, support, and guidance each and every day, for each and every child.
What an incredible year! I feel extremely blessed to have spent this year with these kids. I’m so proud to have shared in their growth and been a part of their first grade experience. Year 16 is in the books (and I may just be a little sad about that❤️).
These are some well-rounded kids! This morning so many students were recognized for their hard work all school year. I’m so proud of you for your achievements, growth, and the kind humans you work on being every day.
We’ve been learning all about animals and their traits this month. Today Ms. Johnson brought in her pet turtle for us to get a closer look at reptiles. 🐢
Remember those proud first grade authors? Well this morning it was announced that their book was chosen as a finalist in The National Book Challenge! Their book finished in the Top 50 out of more than 75,000 entries based on originality, storyline, and illustrations. @RCDASchools
We have another group of published authors! Our first graders have published their very own book! Students worked together to write a book about the effects of climate change and celebrated today with an ice cream social. Way to go, first grader authors! @RCDASchools
When your class writes a book about climate change, ways to help, how it’s affecting animals, & then one of your students goes home and creates a game using the information…❤️ (Pretty relevant considering we had to stay inside this week due to the effects of extreme weather.)
