This week we read the book "Balloons Over Broadway" and learned all about Tony Sarg, a puppeteer who created the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. We then completed a STEM project to help design our own floats.

The ABC Countdown continued today with "Q" Day... Quiet Reading with a Buddy. We threw in a few flashlights and had a terrific time sharing stories with our friends. @ASCA_Albany @RCDASchools

Today's mystery reader came to us from Five Rivers Environmental Educational Center. Ms. Gina not only read a fantastic book called Turtle's Race with Beaver, but she shared all kinds of things with us including a beaver skin and turtle shell! @ASCA_Albany @RCDASchools

Our last session of Books and Cooks was today. Over the last 6 weeks we have been reading great stories and cooking up some pretty tasty treats inspired by the books! @ASCA_Albany @RCDASchools

Our ABC Countdown this week included Experiment Day for "E" on Friday. We gave the pencils in a plastic bag experiment a try! @ASCA_Albany @RCDASchools

Today the ABC Countdown to Summer begins! We celebrated "Airplane Day" by building paper airplanes and then testing out our designs in a friendly competition. @ASCA_Albany @RCDASchools
