The academy takes place in the modern day on a chain of islands named "The Radiant Isles." The isles are hidden from the mortal eye and were originally intended to serve as a means of transportation between the mortal and divine realms; now repurposed for the beautiful academy.

Ascendant Academy is a boarding school for children of gods; a school designed to teach the deity-born what it means to be a sufficient god for the sake of humanity.
Our students, Ascendants, range from any pantheon as they all coexist at once.
