On the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day, the ARMAC extends its gratitude to humanitarian aid workers across the globe for their tireless efforts, noble dedication, and generous contribution to make this world a better place every day.
The ASEAN-Korean Cooperation Fund, ARMAC’s Victim Assistance (VA) Project in collaboration with the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA), and Singapore Health Services once again hosted the online session on Psychosocial Support Training.
ARMAC has received the funding support from the Government of the Republic of Korea for the “Enhance Victim Assistance Program in the ASEAN Member States”, ARMAC is inviting Korean Fresh Graduates or Senior University Students to apply for the Project Support Intern.
We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate accident that took the lives of three deminers from the Cambodian Self-Help Demining Organization while they were on the line of duty. Our deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of those lost.

On December 23, ARMAC with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of China kicked off an online Technical Working Group Meeting for the Project, Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Resource Mobilization Capacity in Mine/ERW in ASEAN
ARMAC Victim Assistance Project Team participated in the 2-day National Victim Assistance Workshop on “Strengthening a strategic approach to address the rights and needs of mine/ERW survivors, affected families and persons with disabilities in Cambodia” (21-22 December 2021).
On 17 December, ARMAC participated in the Technical Reference Group Meeting on Gender Mainstreaming in Cambodia organized jointly by CMAA and UNDP. The Meeting discussed the accomplishments made during the year, and the way forward for 2022.

The ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center Programme staff attended the online workshop on Explosive Ordnance Risk Education hosted by the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority and ran by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining.
On 14 December 2021, the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center convened its 17th Steering Committee (SC) Meeting in person at ARMAC Headquarters in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and online. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Pengiran Kasmirhan Pengiran Tahir, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam
SingHealth partners with ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center to provide psychosocial trainings in mine/ERW-affected ASEAN member states. ARMAC and Singapore Health Services signed a MoU on 9 December 2021 to work together on the project, "Enhance Victim Assistance Programme"
