Dillon Fiorita scores a pair of late goals for the Falcons in a loss to the Mariners in league action on Thursday night.
Alexa Castañeda's second-half goal for Aptos was the difference as the Mariners remain unbeaten in the SCCAL standings with a 6-0 record.
Aptos (12-3-1) will host San Lorenzo Valley (5-5-1, 0-4) on Jan. 30 at 7pm.
Scotts Valley (7-5-1, 4-2) will play at Harbor (7-4-0, 1-3) on Jan. 29 at 7pm.

Aptos 66 | Summit Shasta 61 (OT)
Senior guard Laurel Southall finished with 18 points and 3 rebounds to help the Mariners win their fifth straight game on Jan. 27.
Fellow teammate freshman Gabby Wickham notched 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Wickham hit a key 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to tie the score.
Senior Guin Lines hit a couple clutch free throws in overtime to put Aptos up for good. She finished with 8 points.
Junior forward Berkeley Ashby hauled in 13 rebounds to go along with 12 points, 4 assists and 2 steals. She also hit a key 3-pointer late in the 4th quarter
Sophomore Abby Sherwood had a strong all around game with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Aptos (15-7, 7-1 league) will host Santa Cruz on Tuesday at 6pm.

Scarlet Statler scored in the 54th minute for the Mariners in a win over the Cougars on Wednesday evening.
The assist was credited to Alexa Castaneda, while goalkeeper Alessandra Zuniga made four saves.

Gabby Wickham scored 20 points to go along with 4 steals and 3 assists to help the Mariners extend their win streak to four following a victory over the Knights in league action on Tuesday night.
Aptos pulled away in the second half on a strong shooting performance by Wickham.
The Mariners' defense was led by junior forward Berkeley Ashby’s 14 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 blocked shots to go along with her 5 points.
Coming off the bench was freshman Eliya Sanchez who contributed 9 points, while senior Guin Lines scored 5 points for Aptos (10-5, 3-0), which plays at Santa Cruz (11-4, 3-0) on Friday at 6pm.
