•Restrictions on Public Access: It mandates that facilities at petrol stations, including restrooms, should primarily serve refueling customers. It restricts the general public from accessing these facilities to ensure safety around flammable materials.
•Safety Measures: It emphasizes the need for facilities like toilets to be used in a manner that does not compromise the safety of the petroleum installation. This includes ensuring that no unauthorized activities are conducted in proximity to storage and dispensing areas.
•Compliance with Safety Norms: The licensee must adhere to all PESO safety norms, ensuring that activities on the premises do not increase risks of fire or explosions, which can arise from misuse of facilities such as toilets.
