Welcome to Anglo-Sino Heritage, we are so glad to have you here.
The ASH mission is to share culture & build diverse economies for UK heritage, so by following you will enable us to showcase the wonderful work of the Organisation and the talent we represent to the world!
This year we were proud to launch our very first dual-country exhibition in partnership with the National Media Museum, Beijing. From concept to collaboration, we brought the idea to life and built the partnership that made it possible. It has been an incredible opportunity!
Heritage tells us where we’ve come from.
Technology shapes where we’re going.
Together, they create something powerful - the ability to share stories, preserve traditions and connect cultures in ways that would have been unimaginable a generation ago.
At ASH, we know that heritage isn’t only found in museums. It lives in the objects we treasure, the ones that connect us to our roots & help us understand the everyday lives of those before us.
What’s one item that means something to you and what does it tell us about your story?
At Anglo-Sino Heritage, we’re always inspired by the way travel opens the door to new perspectives. A different landscape, a new tradition, a language you don’t speak but somehow understand through shared smiles or shared food.
So wherever this Summer takes you - take notice.
“After the rain, the ground becomes firmer.”
Last week’s event at the Canalside Centre may have been cancelled due to the weather, but our foundations of creativity, connection & community, are not dampened.
Sometimes plans change, skies turn and we have to wait a little longer.
Join us this Saturday (11-4) at the Canalside Heritage Centre, Beeston. As well as exploring the 'Together' exhibition, families can get hands-on with traditional Chinese activities, including a chance to try your hand (or your feet!) at Jianzi, a fast-paced Chinese sport!

Here is a sneak preview of what the Anglo-Sino Heritage team, along with help from the Chinese students at NTU, created.

A walk through familiar streets.
There’s something quietly beautiful about walking through a place that’s become your own, even if it once felt unfamiliar.
At ASH we celebrate these connections. Between people & places, tradition & modern life - cultures that learn side by side.
It's more than an exhibition
Here at Anglo-Sino Heritage, when we curate an exhibition it doesn’t just display heritage... it invites people into it.
We curate stories of culture, of cross-continental connection, and of the threads that weave us together across time and place.
Heritage is not only something we preserve, it’s something we feel.
This image captures a moment where tradition and personal reflection meet. It reminds us that heritage isn’t only about architecture or artefacts. It lives in the details, in dress, in memory, in gesture.
There’s something special about watching people fully immersed in a new experience. This moment was taken just after guests tried their hand at Chinese calligraphy for the 1st time.
Heritage is alive in the ink on the page and the smile learning something new.
Here we are outside the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum. We stand here not just as a visitors, but as part of a wider cultural conversation because literature & creativity know no borders.
What stories from your culture have crossed oceans? What tales still connect you to others?
A meeting of histories and hearts.
Captured on the staircase of Riddle’s Court, Edinburgh, here we see our project manager Feixue, pausing where stories have echoed for centuries.
Heritage isn’t something we preserve behind glass, it’s something we live, share and pass on.
📸 What do you think of when you hear the word “heritage”?
At ASH we believe that heritage is about attitudes, beliefs, languages, rituals and relationships with our surroundings.
It’s passed down not only in bricks and mortar but in stories, skills, traditions and values.
Two post boxes. Two cultures. One shared story.
This image captures two symbols of tradition, connection and the human desire to stay in touch.
Though thousands of miles apart, both represent the same idea: messages sent, stories shared, lives connected.
