-the hype that was brought on by p5 and p5r because after that point and jokers inclusion in a lot of collabs, probably most notably smash at the time, there were alot of eyes on atlus and they knew they had to get p6 right.
I don’t want to call specifically this person out but yes, P3R was their test run for unreal engine 5.
This especially shows because metaphor was built on the p5 engine despite being released after p3r. They wanted to use UE5 for p6 and are getting reps with it to live up to-

@xRevsPerMilex Good job on understanding frames and when to press! Also good attempts on whiff punishing!! These are good fundimental skills to develop now that will help you a lot in future ranks!
@SteelThane Correct, but I think it’s harder for a general audience fully appreciate Backrooms as a movie if they haven’t watched Kane Parsons series, where as you don’t need to know a lot of the lore of Fnaf to at least have a good experience with fnaf 2.
They arnt, the big difference imho is what’s needed to fully appreciate the movies.
If you don’t know anything about fnaf and go into the fnaf movies, you’re missing references and teasers but you’re more or less following along because the stories in the movies are selfcontain
Ultimately, and I don’t think either are wrong in what they want to accomplish, but the fnaf movies feel like their own stories while fnaf fans can still point at and go OH SHIT ITS (insert reference) where as Backrooms looked to build on and work off of Kane’s series.
To go into Backrooms without watching Kane Parsons series you’re missing a lot, sure it tells your probably the most complete picture of the Backrooms not about WHY Clark can phase through the wall or WHAT Async is.
@lurapika_ Dog people get on marvel rivals, a game filled with heros, gods, and aliens, look at that roster and say “yeah gimme the guy with not one, but two guns”
