This week Cubs visited Galaxy Cheerleading Club! We were so impressed with how well they did, and with the effort they put into learning a new routine. Well done Cubs, and a huge thank you to the staff at Galaxy for such an exciting experience 🤩

Cubs celebrated Burns Night a little bit early this week, as we have an outing next week. We talked about Scottish traditions, painted our own tartan designs and had some delicious traditional food cooked on the fire

This week we welcomed Cubs back after the Christmas break with indoor and outdoor games, and a bit of catch up time with juice and biscuits. Everyone seemed very happy to be back together!!

Today Cubs took part in Remembrance Day activities by making beautiful poppy cards and having a walk to the Cenotaph. We also played some very energetic games led by two of our eldest Cubs and one of our young helpers. Well done girls, everyone really enjoyed them! #scouts

The Beavers had a fantastic night at Bolton Mountain Rescue on Thursday. They where shown the vehicles and all the equipment that is needed for call outs. The evening ended with a Beaver Team rescue of Rocky the bear! A big THANK YOU to @BoltonMRT for a great evening!

Cubs had a spooktacular time tonight with our Day of the Dead celebrations. We decorated masks, tried some delicious Mexican inspired food and learned about the traditions behind it. We also played outdoor games, made s’mores on the campfire and played piñata! #scouts

Cubs headed down to the shooting range this week, taking aim at targets and learning how to safely use an air rifle. We had some great marksmen in our pack, and we were very impressed with how well everyone did 👍🏻 #chorleyscouts #westlancsscouts #skillsforlife #scouts
