And one more. I’ve been a silent follower for a good while now but I’d say very few people cover Welsh Premiership and Welsh rugby in general as well as @Rreesrugby - 100% worth a follow if that’s your thing.

Also had a comprehensive chat with him last month and it’s unbelievable how much knowledge he has on the subject. Also not afraid to stand behind his views and back them up - in the day and age of the pally media, it’s a breath of fresh air! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I’ve never listened to podcasts - not even the ones I’ve been involved with.

But I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into the world of being a listener with @GoodScazRugby

Unbelievably well produced, great fun and ultimately does what I view as the most crucial thing for audience engagement… Takes you inside the women’s game as I’ve got to know about players, what makes them tick, what they get up to outside of a matchday.

Honestly ticks all the boxes. And I’m quite miserable really so VERY rarely will you see me giving anything a plug.

What an absolute barnstormer of a final game week we have in store in the 2024 @Womens6Nations

Following U20s, Men’s & Women’s tournaments has made for an international rugby fest for the ages.

Three mouthwatering encounters on Saturday will bring the curtain down on a brilliant Six Nations all-round.

France v England set to break another attendance record as England’s Grand Slam charge will have to be in front of a Partisan crowd in Bordeaux. Cannot wait to see the battle up front between these two! It’s hard to bet against England but it would take a brave person to say it’s a given. Hopefully we’re in for a proper test match between the two leading nations in the tournament.

Ireland v Scotland. Both nations have shown marked improvement this tournament and neither will want to end things on a loss. Ireland have a tough task bouncing back from their crushing defeat in Twickenham - I think the momentum Scotland will bring having secured their first victory on Italian soil will be enough to see them over the line. Wouldn’t like to call it either way, though!

Wales know their final game, at home to Italy in the Millennium Stadium, is a real opportunity to finish the tournament with a victory and I fully expect them to throw the kitchen sink at Italy in pursuit. I thought they improved massively last weekend, and if they can make it stick in training this week, they have every chance. However, the Welsh defence in the loose has been so poor, anything less than a sizeable improvement in this area and the Italian mavericks of Rigoni and co will cut them apart. It’s hard to favour Wales, but I expect them to go down fighting and optimistically speaking, they are capable of a result.

Exciting times for the development of women’s international rugby. It’ll be extremely interesting to see in a year’s time what sort of progression can be achieved.

The clock is ticking on the Women’s Rugby World Cup!
