Starting from now, the ASPO accepts submissions for the 2023 conference (20th and 21th of April 2023). You can submit your proposal for a presentation, symposium, or poster presentation. Deadline is 13-01-2023. Questions? Contact [email protected]. We hope to see all in Utrecht!

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, the in-person ASPO conference 2021 is cancelled. Instead we decided to organize an online session on Thursday December 16 and host an (in-person!) ASPO event in spring 2022. Hope to see you all there!

During the annual ASPO conference the ASPO award for best dissertation will be awarded to
distinguish the author of the dissertation that most significantly contributed to the field of social
psychology.
Recent and soon-to-be PhDs may now apply for the 2021 award!
To be eligible, you must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Your dissertation covers a social psychological topic;
2. You have defended, or will defend, your thesis between October 1st 2020 and
September 30th 2021;
3. You obtained/will obtain your PhD at a Dutch university.
At the annual ASPO conference the ASPO dissertation award will be awarded. You can be part of the committee of PhD candidates! To apply, send a short motivation letter (with brief description of your PhD project) to Elwira Halgas: [email protected] before August 27th.

Researchers at Leiden University and the Université libre de Bruxelles, together with NGO Radio La Benevolencija, are working to test a new gaming-based intervention against radicalization. For the test phase, they are recruiting a part-time research assistant (2-3 days a week).
