After an early practice this morning in Italy we had some time to ourselves. A ๐ง day so a bunch of us made our way over to Madesimo, IT to cheer on our @ASSC_CDSA Womenโs Curling Team which won 7-4 over Hungary. Madesimo is a ski village 30 mins away from the hockey venue.
Itโs a wet foggy day here in Chiavenna so we are pre scouting the USA-RUS game. Our practice will follow the game. Currently 6-3 USA with 10:14 left in 3rd. If USA wins they will have clinched a spot in the gold medal game Sat. @ASSC_CDSA#2019Deaflympics
Good morning Canada!! Team picture day here in Chiavenna prior to our game tonight against Kazakhstan at 7PM. Hereโs a video of the players view from the ice surface of our open air rink. We have beautiful mountain views all around us. @ASSC_CDSA@2019Italy
That's a wrap for sliding sports! Danielle Rousseau ran her ultimate race today! Let's wish Danielle a great sports retirement and encourage Brunner, Campbell and Csiszar to keep it up, train hard, and be ready to win gold at the 2023 Deaflympics!
