Lies of omission are still lies.
Tell the whole truth, the full truth, the first time.
If there is a reason you’re not, you already got the person you’re lying to fucked up.
The goal is not just to be financially independent by 35.
The goal is for my children, grand children, great grand children, etc. to know the value of money AND do what they are passionate about in life rather than what they have to do to survive.
It’s about them, not me.
Day 2:
Didn’t write yesterday but I did do a lot of thinking about writing.
I know this seems like procrastination or inaction but I have not freely thought about writing in weeks.
I came up with some wonderful new concepts that I wrote down to be looked at after this script!
I missed the deadline I set for myself to finish my script… I am giving myself an extension and also plan to tweet daily updates on my progress to hold myself accountable.
Deadline: March 31
Goal: Finalized first draft
Current status: Half way through outline
Here we go!
Last night I wrote for 90ish minutes and have officially entered the bulk of Act II…this is the farthest I have ever gotten into a screenplay.
I know you have nothing without a finished script but I want to go ahead and celebrate this little win🙌🏽
Keep going #writingcommmunity
Quote of the Day: You have everything you need right now. -Kay Oyegun
Lately, I have been feeling like I need more, need to do more, and need to BE more. This is the exact message I needed to take a step back, look at all I have to be grateful for and move forward more grounded.
You ever asked for a sign? I did recently and then one of my screenwriting idols followed me on Twitter 😳
Thank you @lorienmckenna for following me. Listening to your journey on #TheScreenWritingLife has propelled me more than you could ever know ❤️
Time to finish that script!
I brought another foster pup into my home, this is no. 3…to the 20-something’s who are a little more settled and have the time and space in their hearts, I encourage you to look into dog fostering. It is easier and more rewarding than you think ❤️
Thoughtful Thursday:
Someone asked me: Do you just want people to think you are a writer or do you actually want to write?
And it completely reframed my self image. I have to stop writing for the response of others and get back to my passion for simply putting words on paper…
Weighed in for the first time this year. Put on some holiday weight and am unbothered by it.
I have worked a lot on my mindset about my weight, body image, and overall health.
Feeling like I am finally in the right headspace to tackle this journey in a healthy way.
Happy 2022!
My life goal right now is to be well off enough to afford a home that has what I am calling an NB Nook…
No man cave, no she shed…
Time for my NB Nook 🙌🏽
Finally released a blog post to correspond with the podcast episode I released. Excited to be creating content again!
This post is first in a series on success and achieving goals to prepare for the new year!
I can only go up from here (I hope).

I am writing new podcast episodes for my relaunch and I am realizing just how much joy I get from requiring myself to synthesize my thoughts like this.
I hope to reach others with these thoughts, but mostly I look forward to listening back to these in the next 10 years.
