Another industry leading result from Morro do Ferro: MFSR-054 returned 88m @ 6.33% TREO from surface, including 50m @ 9.0% TREO and 20m @ 12.05% TREO.
The 20m interval contains 2.18% MREO—Nd, Pr, Dy and Tb oxides. Broad, high-grade mineralisation from surface. $PNN #RareEarths
We’ve intersected further broad, high-grade rare earth mineralisation in drilling at the Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project in Brazil, with MFSR-054 returning thick, massive high-grade rare earth mineralisation from surface.
MFSR-054 delivered:
- 88 metres at 6.33% TREO, including 1.19% MREO from surface
- 50 metres at 9.0% TREO, including 1.56% MREO from surface
- 20 metres at 12.05% TREO, including 2.18% MREO from 18 metres
MFSR-054 ended in mineralisation, with the deepest continuous downhole result received to date, and the deposit boundary has not been reached.
We will now commence planning for a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the MDF Project, which will encompass the high-grade results from the Company’s drilling to date.

@SniffRocks@SmallCapBuyer@ZacKomur@MrMenaaa Hmm? The original Kazatomprom/Sumitomo documentation says approximately US$30 million was invested in construction of SARECO in 2012. So…..
We’ve been featured in @Stockhead’s latest look at Argentina’s growing position as a global #lithium jurisdiction, following Liontown’s move into the country’s lithium brine sector.
While @PowerMin_PNN's current focus is the Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project in Brazil, we retain a significant position in Argentina’s Lithium Triangle through our Salta Lithium Project.
The article highlights our proposed joint venture with Summit Nanotech, under which Summit Explore will fund up to US$6 million of work across the area of interest, with a pathway towards a 5,000t commercial DLE plant and an option to acquire the Salta Project for US$50 million during the PFS period.
With increasing investment and corporate activity across Argentina’s lithium sector, Salta provides Power with continued exposure to one of the world’s key lithium regions alongside our strategic focus on rare earths in Brazil.

Rare earths are 40% of magnet cost but just 5% of a motor, 0.2% of an EV and <0.001% of a wide-body aircraft. Even a 3× price rise adds only ~0.1% to a car. Diversified supply is strategic insurance at minimal consumer cost. #RareEarths#CriticalMinerals#PowerMinerals
$PNN Power Minerals Chief Executive Officer Alistair Stephens comments on results from the third hole in the ongoing maiden drilling campaign at the Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project.

@DznBkr Hi Josh. I agree with you again on this downstream process. You have articulated the basic mineralogy and what the base cases for beneficiation and downstream process plans are. Give us time and we will step through all this.
.@PowerMin_PNN has recorded broad, high-grade rare earth mineralisation in the third consecutive hole of its maiden drilling program at the Morro do Ferro (MDF) project in Brazil. https://t.co/jCMODOggG3 #ASX $PNN
Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) reported 108.55m at 4.15% TREO from surface in MFSR 053, including 1.45m at 4.40% MREO of whole rock.

Some interesting chatter on $PNN which I am long some. I have some thoughts on the mineralogy and potential met below. The thinking is based on work from other REE names and talking to those with mineralogy experience.
