@OfVeiledHeroism He pauses his steps to open the door to the outside world, gesturing for her to move ahead before he did. Offering her a widening smile. "Wonder why that is, but I'm not complaining. I appreciate the trust you have in me."
@OfVeiledHeroism “As long as we’re in agreement,” he smiled, laughter subsiding, “thank you for the laugh. Laughter always helps, or whatever people say these days.”
@OfVeiledHeroism “Alright, alright. I hear you.” His laughter has escaped him now, hands up in defense as he nodded. “One day, I’ll take you up on that offer. But for now, I’m focused on this Italian.”
@OfVeiledHeroism “Sounds like a threat.” He responded, barely stifling his laughter as their eyes meet. Then, he shrugged. “Alright, maybe I’ll let you judge for yourself one day. We’ll see.”
@OfVeiledHeroism “You’re incredibly talented. Unfortunately, my talents end at running,” He laughed before focusing his eyes on her in brief awe. “That’s amazing, doing all of that. I could dance in my younger years, but I’m afraid I don’t have the—— agility for it.”
@OfVeiledHeroism “What do I enjoy?” He echoed the question as it came, making a show of thinking as he clocked his tongue. “Like you, I read, but not often. Here and there when I need inspiration or an escape from life, too. Books are beautiful in that sense. Sometime’s I’ll take a morning »
@OfVeiledHeroism “You like reading?” He asked, intrigued as he glanced towards her. “It’s good that you have a connection with your family like that. Family’s important.”
@OfVeiledHeroism “That’s a good perspective.” He agreed, pondering her words for a brief moment before he continued. “What about you, though? I assume you have family here?”
@OfVeiledHeroism “I used to enjoy it, being alone in this city.” He admitted with a soft, humorless laugh. It felt odd confessing this. “But I’ll say, I think I like knowing you’re not too far away.”
@OfVeiledHeroism "Just a bit," he glanced her way with a shrug, "I don't have much family here. Outside of working, I don't have much else on my plate. Thankfully."
@OfVeiledHeroism "I get what you mean." He let out a soft chuckle, slowly making his way down the corridor once her place was secured. "Life can be real busy."
@OfVeiledHeroism He closed the door behind him, pausing to allow time for her to lock the door. "Really? I can't say much though, I'm still exploring all the spots, too."
@OfVeiledHeroism "Italian, it is." He nodded as he opened the door, gesturing her ahead of him with a nod. "There's actually the perfect Italian joint just down the road."
@OfVeiledHeroism He waited, observing the small details of her home, one of the best places to learn about someone. It was a neat, tidy place he gathered in the few moments he was alone. Then, she returned, regaining his attention before turning to the door, reaching for the handle. “Certainly. »
@OfVeiledHeroism He couldn't help but laugh as he nodded understandingly. "Grab your jacket, I don't want you getting too cold out there. It's just a bit windy."
@OfVeiledHeroism Brows raising in intrigue, Bucky stifled a grin at the implication. "Say, would you like to go out for lunch? Or a cup of coffee, maybe?"
