Top tip! When you find yourself inexplicably left with a few hundred extra new trees...stick em in an old bathtub where they'll be perfectly happy until next planting season! 🌳🛀💪

Magnificent artist's bracket (aka artist's conk or bear bread) on this old beech tree. Didn't feel artistically inspired but might come back and have a draw later...also reading up about its healing qualities in Chinese medicine - seems like a cure for every ailment!
We went to the opening of @sixinchessoil in Hebden Bridge yesterday to a sell out audience, it summarises the challenge farmers have to produce quality food using long term regenerative practices and make money to keep their business running. Very accessible and important.
Ancient pear trees against the wall...last year we didn't even know they were there as they were so overwhelmed by the ivy...now they begin to blossom (recover?) and the great tits sing their hearts out from the highest branches. Pure joy! #naturelovers
