🌎As the first flight of Maldivian pilgrims departs for Hajj 1447H, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for including the Maldives in the Makkah Route Initiative for the second consecutive year.

This continued partnership reflects the close and enduring brotherly ties between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, and will greatly contribute towards ensuring a smoother and more seamless Hajj journey for Maldivian pilgrims.

Upon their arrival at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, President Dr Muizzu was warmly received by the Deputy Governor of Madinah, Mr Abdul Mohsin Hameed, and accorded a guard of honour.
