@PoeSweetGesus81@DJRTistic That Hot Boys comment was unnecessary on my end. I don’t like dimming lights to make others brighter. The 90’s hip-hop scene was a time to be alive! I’m glad to have experienced it.
@PoeSweetGesus81@DJRTistic What did the scenario of Lox v Ball & G have to do with a timeframe? I’m in the Deep South bro. 3-6 had a run, but so did Ball and G. They were doing their solo albums in the late 90’s and those went hard in the South too. HOT BOYS ran the late 90’s in the South.
@Dayz777Sunny@NEEZY63 I love having these convos with folks who were ACTUALLY OUTSIDE back then. Mid-late Gen X and older millennials. We remember! I was at Southern U when Snoop was on No Limit and we would see him OFTEN with No Limit offices being in BR.
@Dayz777Sunny@NEEZY63 Snoop was off Death Row and with No Limit trying to stay relevant around that 98 timeframe when Jay really blew up and DMX blasted off. Ja kind of rode their coattails until he started singing. Cube was doing WC and wasn’t doing solo like early 90’s.
@jiggyjayy2 I love how you can understand what the environment was like without having been there. Can’t tell some of these young folks shit. Em is supremely talented…even he acknowledges the role his race played. And actually loves hip-hop and it loves him back.
@criggs2630 Jay fan here. Nelly was absolutely one of those dudes running rap for a few years. Had hits, label, crew dropping records, put a whole city on and region on the map. I’m a hold the line Jay guy but we ain’t gotta dim those guys light to keep his bright.
@JimboSmallwood@JacquezGreen What does that matter if all the schools he played were peers of Gram? If your assertion is that Gram couldn’t beat OSU…fine. He didn’t have the opportunity to. He played who was available as a peer and won 400 times. Why the need to diminish that?
@aakashgupta Jump a couple of generations. Assume that Gendry ascends the throne. He’s telling his grandchild the Long Night, battle of kings landing, etc. Calling Jon a hero…the child says, but he was exiled and never heard from again. Then Gendry is like…but what if he wasn’t?
@tiredofit10@Acyn King George of South Carolina:

Friday Night
Girl You Got It
Too Long
All southern soul staples! Put him on your playlist.
@jiggyjayy2 Pretty much the same year around. Not super humid if you already live in humid climates but if not you might find it humid. It’s ALWAYS windy, so that keeps temps from exploding into the upper 90’s.
