And food chain companies & corporations sell their food products at fixed price including the cost and profit. Why farmers can’t get #MSP for their crops which needs to include the cost to produce plus profit? #FarmersProtest
Farmers all over the world are deep in crisis because they have been denied a guaranteed price for their produce for decades. It is time to provide an assured price, to ensure no trading takes below #MSP. That's the only way to restore the pride in farming. #FarmersProtest

🇨🇦🪖 Sikh Canadians
A Legacy of Courage and Service
Significant yet often underrecognized
From the muddy trenches of Flanders to the battlefields of Kandahar, Sikh Canadians have stood shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters in arms fighting for freedom, justice, and the maple leaf they proudly call home.
To the Sikh Canadians who served and continue to serve: Your sacrifice is written into the story of Canada.
Your bravery echoes through generations. Your service defines what it means to be truly Canadian.
Lest we forget. 🙏🇨🇦
💥 World War I (1914-1918)
They volunteered when Canada barely recognized them as citizens.
Heroes like Private Buckam Singh fought in Belgium with the 20th Battalion, were wounded twice, and came home with honour even when their country denied them the right to vote.
🔥 World War II (1939-1945)
Sikh Canadians once again answered the call training at Camp Vernon, serving across the Commonwealth while their community fought at home for equality and civil rights, finally achieved in 1947.
🌍 Korea, Peacekeeping & Afghanistan
From UN peacekeeping missions to the hills of Korea, and decades later in Afghanistan, Sikh Canadians served in uniform, keeping alive the warrior spirit of their ancestors the Saint Soldiers who stand for righteousness.
🎖 Today
They serve in every branch of the Canadian Armed Forces from soldiers to commanders.
Leaders like Lt-Col Harjit Sajjan went on to become Canada’s Minister of National Defence, breaking barriers while staying true to the articles of faith turban, beard, courage, and conviction.
This November marks 41 years since the 1984 Sikh Genocide when targeted violence destroyed lives, families, and communities.
We remember those who were killed, and stand in solidarity with survivors and their families who continue to carry the pain of those days.
Here in Ontario and across Canada, the Sikh community continues to lead with compassion, courage, and sewa: feeding neighbours, uplifting those in need, and building communities where everyone belongs.
As we remember, we commit to confronting injustice in all its forms at home and around the world.
Congratulations to the Indian women cricket team for such a marvelous achievement.

Kangana Ranaut has apologized to Bibi Mahinder Kaur for insulting her during #FarmersProtest, when she tweeted that ‘women like her are available for ₹100 to join protests.’
We salute courage and determination of Bibi Mahinder Kaur, who fought relentlessly for nearly half a decade, dragged @KanganaTeam to Bathinda court, and made her apologize 💪🌾
33 earth-loaded tractortrolleys & a diesel tanker from Gehal village in Barnala dist covered around 130 km on Monday and reached the flood-hit village by forenoon. After unloading the earth, tractors began working at the site.
They are a group of 52. Except one, all are youth.
We’ve said this before and will repeat it: don’t pay a penny to govt funds or societies. That money will be used for promotions, tours, and luxury stays. Support victims directly or donate to reputable NGOs.
It is independent donors, NGOs & SGPC who are in the flood-hit areas. They are gathering information, delivering ration, medicines, fodder, and essentials. Ministers, MLAs, and babus are only busy with propaganda, self-promotion, and Insta reels.
