"But why would a Republican run as a Democrat in the South? What purpose would that serve??"
Well, Janice, when the Democratic State Committee doesn't screen their candidates and allows independents, libertarians, other third parties, and whomever can foot the entry fee run under a blue banner during a race that's set to upend the Republican supermajority... We call that stacking the deck 💁
Our government is supposed to be the protection from foreign powers and interests that are maligned with American's best interests. Foreign governments are under no obligation to protect our constitutional rights or ensure our nation is a thriving one. That's our own government's job.
It’s not an antisemitic conspiracy theory when a foreign lobby openly brags that they bought two congressional seats with candidates who will be loyal to Israel.
I’m here for the gloves-off version of Massie.
People seem to forget he still has 7 months left in Congress, and at this point there’s probably not much incentive for him to play nice or stay quiet. 😉🔥
If Thomas Massie held the same exact views but ran as a Democrat, Libertarian, Republican, or Independent, I would support him.
If you can't understand that, you are thinking of politics like a team sport, and you are a very unserious person.
@brucefenton The American Capitalist Party is what you're looking for if you value liberty and financially conservative policy positions.

Michigan election laws make it practically prohibitive for independents or candidates from outside the two major parties to run and succeed.
If Michiganders want more competition and better choices, we must reform the laws—starting with the elimination of straight-ticket voting.
@elonmusk The women's interviews will be a little different than the men's based on the harassment suits against Musk's companies...but hey, he might offer you a horse if you comply...
Agreed. Massie's hang up with Israel is how much foreign aid we give and how much of their money flows into our elections. As we've seen in his primary. People don't think foreign powers play a major role in our elections, but they absolutely do. They get away with it through the way they launder those funds through individual 527s and PACs into campaign contributions.
I'm of the opinion that no foreign money should be allowed to enter our elections and influence our policies and policy makers. Full stop.
@RepThomasMassie the GOP is no longer the party of principled constitutionalism, individual rights, free markets. Might I suggest you join the only party of principles that exists?

And… come to our convention in Sept.
For socialists there are only two modes of living: as a wage slave or a slave for the collective. Either way you’re a slave.
For capitalists there is only one mode of living: free.
Embrace freedom. Stop being a tool for the political class.

The GOP no longer cares about constitutional values and holding power accountable. Full stop. They eat their own if they stand up for what's right. The GOP wants yes men. That's all.
@RepThomasMassie should come to the American Capitalist Party's first national convention this September.
