I love visual arts, literature, poetry, travelling, music, ballet, pinball playing, learning languages. I cook and bake in a bohemian way; no fuss, more joy!
Hi, I’m from Finland! 🇫🇮
X is my window to the world; it’s great to learn about daily life and traditions in other countries.
My dishes are mostly homemade of organic ingredients. We eat a lot of different fish, have a crayfish feast in August, love wild berries and mushrooms.
A disaster: the freezer finally ended a long relationship. I had already bought a new freezer as a backup, so nothing essential was damaged.
For hubby’s brunch: radishes, egg, grapes, pointy pepper, cucumber, cherries, Galia melon, Cantaloupe melon, watermelon, cabbage, orange.
+21˚C today. I’m happy that our warm, but moderate Finnish summer days are back again!
For breakfast: sourdough rye bread with cucumber, Prosciutto crudo, dahlia petals and Brie, grapes, pomegranate and Galia melon, orange, cherries, baked cottage cheese, coffee.
@ddhershy My old freezer had been unreliable for a long time, so I decided to buy a new one because I knew for some reason that the old one would break down one night. And it did!
Summer is full of tasty vegetables, fruits and berries, as well as edible wildflowers, just pick and choose!
For hubby’s brunch: cucumber, pointy pepper, Galia melon, cherries, apple, strawberries, avocado, watermelon, Cantaloupe melon, cabbage, orange, wild mushroom salad.
@DebbieKassa Thanks. My old freezer had been a bit unreliable for a long time, and I knew that if it broke, it would happen at night. And it did. So buying a new one was a good idea!
