@KOLSANART Yes, no surprise to be honest. When Kingdom Hearts released on Steam they AI upscaled everything, the textures look horrible and messy on the Steam release, just like the background on that art.
Which is funny since when it first released on Epic it was fine. What a shame.
@MaverickHuntrX@esaburruss@FinalFantasy International Version released on the PS2, that content is LITERALLY on the PS2.
The graphical update was a downgrade.
Trophies don’t matter at all, if you need some colorful pop up on a game there is something very wrong with your priorities to an art form.
@TheTeaVirus@FinalFantasy Also the DMC “HD”trilogy with it’s horrible hair, textures, effects and sound.
Those remasters make it seem that games back then were ugly and limited, which is far from the truth.
@esaburruss@MaverickHuntrX@FinalFantasy What a futile thing to care about. You got an worse version of an amazing game but at least you got your little digital award.
@MaverickHuntrX@esaburruss@FinalFantasy Everything was already on the International Version releases. The only new “content” are cheats and a worse visual experience.
@esaburruss@FinalFantasy I do understand the “convenience” of those releases but we should not accept Square releasing this same piece of crap over and over again.
Specially when a game such as FFXII got a good remaster. There are no excuses to not update FF X/X-2 HD.
@esaburruss@FinalFantasy The problem is not that the graphics were not improved, they look worse.
Content such as the Dark Aeon battles are featured in any of the International Version releases on the PS2, I'd just emulate that instead of paying so much for a rehash of that awful remaster.
@KaroshiMyriad The faces still look horrible, it’s just a barebones port of the same HD Remaster that has been around forever at this point.
What a shame.
Persona 4 Revival dungeons are designed like the original but with new visuals.
Combat advantage is now acquired by parrying the enemy shadow in the overworld.
There is a special shared meter next to the party panel, likely for the new Theurgy-like "Series Finale" mechanic.
It looks like legendary film director Yoshihiro Nishimura has passed away.
Nishimura-san was a major element of the early stages of ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN's development, creating the huge diorama you see at the beginning of the game along other models.
Rest in peace.
