A4: Ss knew that they could either choose from the options given or ask to present their learning in a different way. I remember how excited my S was to use Minecraft as his presentation tool! I also liked giving them options on how they wanted to learn and what. #nisdedchat
A3: Being their biggest cheerleader! When they know they have someone in their corner, they're more willing to keep going. Also, hearing how others have overcome adversity helps as well. #nisdedchat
Q3: ๐Navigating the road to intrinsic motivation isn't always smooth. Share your strategies and tips for fostering resilience! Check out the question below.๐ช #nisdedchat
A2: I think it's all about knowing your students. It builds that connection/relationship that can be incorporated into lessons. It fosters an environment where they know you care, and as a result, there's a mutual sense of respect for each other. @nisdedchat
I remember a student of mine that struggled with reading and disliked it. We found a book on a topic he really liked and anytime we had SSR, he was into it! When he finished reading the book, he told me that was the 1st book he had finished in a long time! #Empowered#nisdedchat
Q1: Let's get the #NISDedchat conversation started! ๐โจ Share your stories of the magic that happens when intrinsic motivation lights up a student's learning path.
