I'd argue MOST people, me included, used to be totally indifferent to all of this. My position genuinely used to be that I don't care what you do as an adult, provided it doesn't affect me.

I don't feel like that any more. Not even a little.

Somewhere along the road, trans activists and progressives got extremely forceful and loud. And then it became impossible to ignore their bullshit.

"Please let us live in peace" turned into forcing transition on minors.
And forcing men into women's spaces.
And quite literally changing the definition of the word "woman".

In medicine, we have been pushed to change how we understand the female sex in order to accommodate a bunch of men who think they are female (lmfao what the fuck are we even doing?)

Then it was all the legal battles where judges undermined what it is to be a woman. Forcing women to accept men into female-only gyms, locker rooms, bathrooms and apps. Making women feel uncomfortable and unsafe in order to protect the precious feelings of these men.

We have been to thoroughly dehumanized by the trans community.
"Chest feeding"
"Front hole"
"Menstruating person"
"Birthing person"

Anything and everything that makes women remarkable, unique, and DIFFERENT to men has been erased so we can include a bunch of mentally ill men in our ranks.

Voicing concern got you fired and socially ostracized. Women have been too terrified to speak up and do anything because, across the Western world, we have virtually no support and no protections from the justice system.

Women (and men) in Britain were (maybe still are) being charged and arrested for MISGENDERING people online. Harassed for pointing out the biological reality that MEN CANNOT BE WOMEN.

And this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what women, girls and children have had to endure for the past decade or so.

Public opinion went backwards because the most insane people have had the microphone for the better part of ten years. And they have pushed everyone's tolerance to the brink.

Blame yourselves. You did this to yourselves. You have hurt women and children so significantly and so thoroughly that there is no coming back from this.

I was just on @CBSNews The Takeout with @MajorCBS. I was there to talk about the WNBA - what else.

I was introduced as the head of @xx_xyathletics, "an advocacy organization."

Correction 1: We are an athletic clothing brand. We are not a non-profit. We are a business. A brand. And brands influence the culture. Nike takes all sorts of positions. The difference between us and Nike is we mean what we say. We stand up for women when it is hard. When there is no upside in it for us. Nike takes their supposed stances as a marketing play ("woke capitalism"). And they go the opposite direction when the wind blows that way.

He then said our mission was to "keep trans out of women's sports."

Correction 2: No. Our mission is to stand up for female athletes, not just pretend to like Nike -- a brand that makes money off of "championing" female athletes while treating them with astonishing disregard. (See: Mary Cain, Alyson Felix for examples.)

We don't care if women who identify as trans (think they are men) play in women's sports. We don't care if women who declare a non-binary identity play in women's sports. Women like Nikki Hiltz. Or Layshia Clarendon. They are women. It's all good!

We don't want men in women's sports. Not "trans identified" men. Not DSD men. MEN. No men in women's sports.

80% of Americans agree with us.

This isn't culture war stuff. This is 80% of Americans being normal and 20% living in a misogynistic fantasy land where men can declare themselves women and take our privacy and opportunities away.

I just want to remind you. It is progressive insane expansion of what “trans” means that has made this possible.

A natal male NBA player is self-IDing as a woman as a joke. Progressive policies let him do this legally. He can literally just walk down to the DMV, check a box and be legally female.

The system I transitioned under required me to spend months at a therapist. Then I got on HRT, which included chemicals that castrated me. I then spent several years living as a woman. Then I had to go to not one, but two separate therapists to re-verify my diagnosis to get vaginoplasty - which was brutal. Then I was allowed to have an F on my drivers license.

These safeguards were admittedly a hassle. But they keep women safe and they keep Trans women safe by ensuring the public that only the most serious cases were medically transitioning.

Progressives have literally destroyed the system of trust transsexual healthcare is built on.

I was a fairly good high school athlete and a terrible collegiate athlete, nowhere near the level Sports were still an important and precious part of my life and I want girls who are not going to go pro or play in college to also have that experience.

When I spoke about abuse in gymnastics in 2008, people said I was a liar and a grifter and shitty gymnast even though I'd been a national champion. (Not sure why that would matter if I was shitty -- do shitty gymnasts deserve abuse? And I've said repeatedly I was the worst national champion that ever was so you're not hurting my feelings to say it.)

Then Dominique Moceanu spoke out a year later, an Olympic gold medalist, and they called her a grifter and a liar and an unwell person and an ungrateful former gymnast. The naysayers couldn't say she was a crap gymnast, she had a gold medal. So they went another route.

It wasn't until 2016-2018 that the cascade of Olympians spoke out.

And then everyone knew it was true.

When the trolls can't address your argument they call you names.

We are seeing this now in real time.

@Riley_Gaines_ spoke about men in women's sports in 2022. "You suck, you were 5th place."

Then Sophie Cunningham spoke in July and she is a grifter MAGA Barbie and bench player (with a firm grip on reality).

Now @SabalenkaA has spoken. She is #1 in the world in women's tennis. What do you have now people?? Seriously? Are you gonna say she sucks too? Is crazy? Is Russian? What??

On their recent podcast @TheWilderThings and @mad_hill trashed @Riley_Gaines_ as "not even very good" (at swimming) and then trashed veteran WNBA player @sophaller as no good.

Ok ladies. I'm sure you've both played pro sports and been nationally ranked in the NCAA too, right? What sports again, I don't remember?

A few points here...

1. Not sure what their skill has anything to do with anything. They are standing up for girls' rights to fairness, safety and privacy. They could absolutely stink at sports and have every right to do so.

2. Riley is a 12x All American and Sophie is in the WNBA -less than 1% of college players even make the WNBA so just making it makes you good.

3. Sabalenka is #1 in the world and she just said protect the women's category so what do you have to say now? Is #1 not good enough?

4. @Martina has taken a stand and she is inarguably one of the best players that ever was.

5. I have taken a stand and I was ranked #1 in gymnastics, albeit a long time ago.

This is exactly what happened when gymnasts spoke out about abuse. We were dismissed because we weren't good enough. Until an almost entire Olympic team spoke out.
