@GrizzCoachK Flags are placed before you sit down in an open seating area - you are complaining about your own choice to sit there? Move yourself to a place not obstructed by the flags that have been there for 4 years if you have an issue, instead of trying to impose your will on others.
@GrizzCoachK@ResurgenceATL Hrm. Another self-entitled asshat that willfully sits behind flags then complains about them and who doesn't contribute to chant creation but thinks we care about his opinion.
@paynomind@ATLUTD Maybe don't get kicked out of all the groups for being a creep then... or simply buy them directly from BHam since they were on sale on their website.🙄
@troymorehead@Graham_FL@ResurgenceATL There are 18-20 AUFC matches/year in MBS, 8-10 NFL games, and 1 truck rally. > half the tickets sold to go there (~1M per year) are for AUFC in any year. AUFC is the focus.
Your stadium is nice by the way. See? I can think your team is shit and still acknowledge reality.
@troymorehead@Graham_FL@ResurgenceATL So you were wrong AND you don't get how civics works... don't worry, I'll help. They collect sales tax, which goes to the county and city. They also pay income tax to the state.
They also drive revenue to nearby businesses with the 1-2 million tickets sold per year.
@troymorehead@Graham_FL@ResurgenceATL They pay income tax on the profits.
As you clearly said the state owns the property so it would be unusual (and pointless) for the state to charge property tax to itself.
If you want to bash an 'Atlanta' stadium for abusing taxpayers look to the Braves in Cobb, MBS ain't it.
@troymorehead@Graham_FL@ResurgenceATL Yep, your article clearly says that it was funded with hotel tax funds, unlike the Cowboys who used a city sales tax. So like I said - unless you spend a lot of time in hotels in your own city, visitors pay for the stadium.
@troymorehead@Graham_FL@ResurgenceATL Actually not - it is funded with a hotel room tax. So all the visitors here pay for that stadium, not ATL taxpayers... unless you make a habit of buying hotel rooms in your own city.
@KeyLargo2 @travis_kempf @stanleycupot@RexChapman@NotHoodlum @BayouRising GOP has been doing their lying for the whole year but the DNC dropped the ball early on too, no one promoted the mask use that is in the pandemic plan until April or later.
5 weeks after Congress was briefed Pelosi went on TV in San Francisco telling people to go out to eat.
@Jimney00 @TheToxicMofo @GAFollowers You're wrong. I've been in downtown ATL for 13 years after many in the burbs. I saw way more crime in my years in Roswell, Alpharetta, and Norcross than you see down here.
@_theliteskin_@GAFollowers This is overblown, not 300. I've seen big fights in Alpharetta and Lawrenceville, plenty of shootings too. I've been in downtown Atlanta for 13 years - much safer than living in the burbs where meth-heads are trying to carjack you.
@iSteelersFan That's an interesting take since 'stop the steal' protests have had armed militia all week at the capitol, including out of state armed teams and Alex Jones' Proud Boys brigade. Only opposed to long guns when on the other side?
#MLSisBack is a dangerous and wholly unnecessary tournament. We ask @MLS and @portlandtimbers to look at the COVID-19 numbers and reconsider holding it in the interest of the physical health and mental-well being of players and support staff. #RCTID https://t.co/8Qu19LD0KJ
