A 68 y/o woman was stabbed multiple times at an Atlanta gas station on Cleveland Ave SW; the suspect, caught on surveillance, remains at large days after the MARTA attack, heightening public safety concerns.

Authorities urge the public’s help to identify him and prevent further violence.

A 66 y/o woman, Margaret Swan, was killed in a stabbing on a MARTA train near Oakland City Station in Atlanta.

Authorities identified John Elijah Matthews as the suspect and charged him with murder after investigators said he attacked Swan in broad daylight, stabbing her 18–20 times.
