If you’re up early tomorrow morning, March 6, you might spot athletic trainers front and center on the plaza outside the Today Show!

For more than a decade athletic trainers have made the trek to New York City during National Athletic Training Month to raise awareness about the profession, connect with students and colleagues and show the world who ATs really are. From standing in the cold at 2:30 a.m. to talking to folks in line, this tradition helps people put faces to the profession and learn what athletic trainers do beyond the sidelines.

This year’s event continues that legacy of passion, community and visibility – reminding everyone that athletic trainers aren’t just there for injuries but for education, advocacy and connection too.
