Thank you for always supporting Austin Justice Coalition. We’re growing, adapting, and staying committed to justice work in ATX. 🖤 #AJC#JusticeTogether
We know it’s been a little quiet here lately 👀. As a small team with limited staff, we’ve been putting most of our energy into the on-the-ground work that matters most. 💜✊🏾 #AustinJustice
In the meantime, if you have a passion for social justice + want to volunteer your skills in social media, storytelling, or content creation—we’d love your help! Drop us a DM or email: [email protected] 📩
The time for action is now. Policies that impact our communities are being shaped every day, and we refuse to sit on the sidelines while decisions are made without us.

Amplify Austin Day is here! For 24 hours, our community comes together to fuel change, invest in justice, and amplify the voices of those fighting for equity in Central Texas. But we can’t do this work alone—we need YOU.

The proposed $218 million contract for Austin Police won’t make Austin safer. In fact, the data shows violent crime has decreased nearly 10% in the past year. Austin’s true safety needs lie in affordable housing, economic stability, and community resources—not more policing.
We’re joining forces with @ATXJustice to push back against this funding expansion. Austin deserves better solutions.

"Justice demands integrity. It’s to have a moral universe — not only know what is right or wrong but to put things in perspective, weigh things. Justice is different from violence and retribution; it requires complex accounting." - Bell Hooks
Someone on private already pointed this out, but: does this look like an underfunded police department to you? What’s happening in the rest of the city while a couple hundred college students peacefully protest? 911 call response was taking like an hour just last year.
