@OccupyLF Despite what the stats are showing, scientists & politicians need to accept #COVID19 was in the States way before Dec 2019. From Oct 19-late Jan 2020, it’s very likely I had COVID19, along w/my parents. My doctor agrees too. I felt miserable & had an adrenal crisis to tag along.
Please donate to my GoFundMe! Ten years ago, I was an active grad student & felt amazing. Then, I had neck surgery. My life changed forever, thanks to #EDS. Since then, I’ve needed 2 more neck surgeries & 2 low back surgeries. Sadly, I need surgery again.

@SouthwestAir you should be ashamed of yourselves. Charging for bags is a slap in the face to the millions of people who’ve been loyal to you for years. I use SWA to travel for medical care. Free bags took away some of the stress and cost of traveling.
@OttoMatticBaby It would help afford/pay for the various expenses associated with my upcoming spinal cord surgery at the end of May. I have to travel from Texas to South Carolina because only ~7 neurosurgeons can treat my condition. #ehlersdanlossyndrome#tetheredcordsyndrome#eds
@DiaryofaSickGrl I couldn’t have said it better myself. When I became chronically ill, I lost so much of what I loved. It got worse after each surgery or illness onset. It’s hard for people who are non disabled to understand how much hell we live through daily.
Honestly, a part of me died when I became chronically ill & instead of a funeral, I grieved (mostly alone) & people moved on with their lives as if I had actually died. And so I often feel like just a ghost of my past self & I reflect on many memories as if they were a past life
@Kickice7@DiaryofaSickGrl I have EDS,Raynauds & Dysautonomia. My dad also has EDS & dysautonomia, but no adrenal insufficiency/Addison’s like me. He will not accept that I can’t regulate my own cortisol. By connecting with other zebras, I know I have someone I can vent to on my dad or DM for support.
Chronically ill and disabled people making friends with each other online aren’t “attention seeking”, they’re connection seeking. We deserve to make friends with people who “get it” and to help and support each other.
