No More Porn Shame is the book I wanted when the internet only offered rehab for being a man who likes to look.
Not a reboot. The diagnostic history, the studies, and a way to tell shame from a pattern worth changing.

Somewhere right now a guy is counting how many times he watched porn this week and wondering if he needs rehab.
He's not dealing with porn addiction. He's tired, horny, and someone sold him a diagnosis.
That diagnosis doesn't exist. 🧵

Her hurt can be real. Your "porn addiction" still isn't.
One is a conversation about expectations. The other turns a Tuesday night into a relapse, then treats the guilt as proof.
Integrity is not the same thing as abstinence.
Fitness influencer George Armstrong’s wife apologized after taking over his Instagram and accusing him of cheating
She later said his actions “did not occur during the time of our relationship”
My new book No More Porn Shame just launched yesterday and I’m stunned that something I spent so much time creating is attracting buyers! It’s been such a trying year for me and this validation only makes me want to work even harder and create more to help more. Very proud! 😇
@IntrovrtdScribe Masturbation is healthy, especially for young women, who later report higher relationship and sexual satisfaction than those who do not report masturbating in their youth.
Roughly 70% of men admit to lying about the depth of their feelings in order to get a woman to have sex with them.
Men also desire sex far sooner than women.
Saying “I love you” too soon likely triggers women’s commitment skepticism.
And the sad part is she’s probably vastly underpaid compared to her peers in similar roles. Giving one’s loyalty to the same corporation for years doesn’t always translate to being paid your worth. I was told I’d get paid more if I left, got more experience elsewhere & came back.
Hey y'all! I'm in the process of adding this pic of me to my new ebook's website so potential readers know they're trusting a regular dude just like them with their purchase, so I figured I might as well show you guys too. Bi the way, are you following me @ATXleadingedger yet?
I texted my shaman yesterday out of excitement that I launched my new eBook, and I lamented that I should've gotten off my ass like 10 or 12 months ago and wrote this book before my unemployed financial situation became so dire and incredibly stressful. To be fair to myself, I also didn't know at the time that I was severely clinically depressed.
I don't know why I'd expect her to opine anything differently, but her response, as always, was just so perfect and exactly what I needed to hear (read?). She said, "It wasn't ready to be created just yet, that's why. Divine timing!" And it's like... though I'm merely a student of this uniquely spiritual path, I know this shit intuitively, but I have to keep these kinds of empathetic, brilliant humans close to me in my tribe to keep reminding me not only of Who I Am, but also to trust the process; to trust the journey.
Few souls are incarnating to earth these days to have a human experience void of some sort of struggle or obstacle to overcome, and we have to remember to stay in our power and not become victims, even when life throws us inconvenient curve balls and even when we're surrounded by tons of other people who are going to judge and project onto us whatever the fuck is going on in their own lives. Speaking of... I'm going to have to write extensively about this time in my life in what will be my undoubted eventual memoir. It's been interesting observing how other people are responding to my temporary hardship, and I'm grateful for the spiritual and personal development tools I've been given, at my 40+ years of age to take less of their judgments as personal.
When life throws you a curveball, and it for sure will, just know that you literally were born for it. You literally incarnated here to experience it so that you could come out the other side improved and better able to be in service to others going through similar adversity. I have a very small group of very smart friends who have guided me through these challenging times without judging me, having faith in me that I was going to figure it out, and I hope that should adversity find you too unprepared for its call, that you'll be surrounded by empathetic minds and hearts that help you through it as well.
No more porn shame.
