Once part of a large intake at BARC (where he even tried to stage a little escape 😅), Mister started out fearful and unsure.

This tiny kitten was literally rescued from the middle of a road in Baytown, Texas. She was seen right next to a truck‘s tire, when a Good Samaritan jumped into action and scooped her up out of danger.

Stories like this are happening every single day during kitten season, and Austin Siamese Rescue is working nonstop to save vulnerable kittens just like this baby.

At just 11 months old, these bonded boys are looking for a forever home together where they can continue being the perfect duo.

Gus is the outgoing adventurer, sweet, playful, smart, and full of personality. He loves people and is always ready for fun, affection, and companionship. Gary is the softer soul of the pair, a handsome diluted tabby with a huge heart, loud happy purrs, and a cuddly side that shines once he feels comfortable. Though he may be a little shy at first, his loving personality quickly wins everyone over.

Together, they balance each other perfectly. Whether they’re chasing toys, exploring the house, cuddling with their humans, or curling up together for a nap, Gus and Gary share a special bond that is impossible not to fall in love with.

These brothers are guaranteed to bring endless laughter, comfort, love, and companionship to the lucky family who welcomes them home.

Amplify Austin Day is almost here — and your donation goes even further!

As we head into Amplify Austin Day, we are excited to share that Austin Siamese Rescue is eligible for a $25,000 incentive fund for Animal Care & Services organizations, thanks to a generous anonymous donor

This incentive is not a dollar-for-dollar match, but is shared pro-rata based on how much each rescue raises. That means every donation helps increase our share of this incentive fund — and directly supports our cats and kittens.

With kitten season right around the corner, these funds are critical. They help us stock up on medications, medical supplies, and veterinary care so we’re ready when kittens arrive sick, injured, or in urgent need — just like so many we cared for last year.

At just 4 years old, Sophie has already raised her beautiful kittens (now happily adopted!) and is ready for a forever home of her own. She was a devoted, attentive mama, and that same soft-hearted sweetness carries into everything she does.

Sophie truly shines around other cats. She enjoys feline companionship and would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident kitty friend. While she can happily entertain herself for hours batting and chasing her toys, she isn’t high-energy — her vibe is calm, peaceful, and observant.

Sophie is shy and will need a patient adopter willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe — typically a few weeks to settle in and build trust. But for someone who understands that the most meaningful bonds take time, Sophie will be an incredibly rewarding companion.

Meet Luna Lu

This petite seal point beauty with stunning blue eyes has come a long way. Found wandering an apartment complex in Houston with her kitten, Luna Lu arrived scared and unsure. With time and patience, she’s learned to trust—and when she chooses her person, she really chooses them.

She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up in your lap, and soak up quiet moments together. Luna Lu is still building confidence and will need a calm, cat-free home with an experienced, patient adopter.

Working with skittish cats is incredibly rewarding. They go from not trusting at all and not wanting affection to that beautiful day when it clicks—when they realize the love they’ve been missing and finally let you in.

For the right person, her loyalty and bond will be something truly special.
