@DanteTheDon Wasn’t their best defensive game tonight, but Castle & Harper are elite perimeter defenders, Vassell guards his ass off & Wemby is on his way to being the most impactful defensive player of all time if he isn’t already
We'll have more on Sam Darnold's odyssey tomorrow AM at Go Long, but wanted to share this from #Vikings great Harrison Smith. He saw it all firsthand.
His words apply to anything in life.
“The reality is, you can learn from experience. You don’t have to just fail all the time. Everyone acts like you’re either the worst or you’re the GOAT. All the dumbass shit that people just come up with. They haven’t spent their professional life committed to improving — that’s going to take failure, that’s going to take times where you get beat. And then people drag you because you aren’t the greatest every play. Whoever everyone says is the GOAT -- Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods -- they all get beat and they all can get embarrassed. It’s just we don't watch those clips.
“They were the best because they found ways to improve and use those as fuel. But that's not sexy. That's not sexy for us to watch a highlight video or a lowlight video of people just losing and then how they improve upon it. And I think Sam is a good example of a guy that just goes to work and he doesn't make too big of a deal of anything."
@IBuyUglyHomes4 @PeterDjerf@NickOlsonNFL That’s the takeaway… he was going to be cut so they got what they could. Encouraging indication on the young talent
Our Associate Aaron Thompson’s article on DJ livestreaming and social media copyright enforcement during the pandemic was recently published in the Chicago Kent Law Review Journal, arguing that a framework that facilitates and monetizes new uses of music online would better serve rightsholders, social media users, and the purposes of copyright.
