Great first day of our Bronze expedition!

The weather has been perfect for walking - cool and calm, of a little damp!

Everyone is in high spirits and bedded down for the night, ready to go again in the morning!

If your teenager tells you they can’t get up in the morning, this is not true!

Take away phones, give plenty of exercise and a good night’s sleep and they’ll be up with the birds! At 4.45am!

The weather has broken and we’ve finally got some sun!

Groups are making great progress, have found the copse of Haribo trees and even picked up some hitchhikers!

Everyone is back home safe and well, ready for the shower and a hot meal!

The students have been amazing and done themselves proud!

While they get some well earned rest, the staff are still hard at work cleaning up. Thank you to everyone involved!

The students are done but for our staff the job is still to do!

Without the staff who give up their time to plan the events, look after the kit and support students through their sections our DofE wouldn’t run.

Day three is nearly done!

All teams have arrived for and well, smiles and ice cream all around!

We’ve had great weather, beautiful routes and a wonderful group of students, making it a really enjoyable weekend.

Day two of the expedition ended with. Beautiful sunset and stories around the campfire!

The final day has begun and groups are packed and walking well.

Great first day of our Silver qualifying expedition in the Peak District!

Students are moving well on day two after a good night’s sleep and are being treated to great weather and wildlife along the way!
