This raises a fundamental question: is the constitutionally guaranteed right to protest suspended during the monsoon season? If not, then isn’t it the state’s duty to ensure the safety and health of peaceful protesters?

Several persons on hunger strike have weakened immunity and will be susceptible to pneumonia if under the rain and cold. Pneumonia is life threatening. Since the government is unwilling to listen to those on hunger strike, does it plan on taking their lives through such indirect tactics? The @DelhiPolice @CPDelhi must answer.
